Our Story
Mom (Janelle), in particular, had a vision of retiring to a place where flowers bloom, and the serenity of nature. Her passion for building beauty from the ground up and community resonated deeply with us all. The idea of creating something so wonderful and beautiful, this pushed us to start our journey. Thus, Taeda Farms was born, and we were all committed to turning our shared dream into reality.
As we embark on this exciting venture, we invite you to join us on this journey. Taeda Farms isn't just about cultivating flowers; it's about creating a sanctuary where people can gather, connect, and find solace in the beauty of nature. It’s about building beauty from the ground up.
Janelle
Flower Smeller - Grass Grower
Janelle is our farm’s resident dreamer, planner, and future flower whisperer. Though not a single bloom has sprouted yet, she’s already picking flowers in her mind and making friends with anyone who’ll listen to her vision (trust me, she’ll get you excited about it too). She’s the one mapping out our flower fields and making sure every petal has a fellow friend close by. If you bump into her, be prepared to leave with gardening advice, flower dreams, and maybe a new best friend.
Madison
Get it Done Guru - Chaos Coordinator
Madison is our project executive, aka the one who ensures all the dreaming doesn’t just stay ... well, dreams. She’s the go-getter behind the scenes, handling everything from ordering seeds to navigating the maze of permits. Madison’s the one elbow-deep in paperwork and phone calls, making it all happen. If you see something working smoothly around here, you can bet Madison's already wrangled it into submission with her “let’s make this happen” magic.
Caleb
Obligatory Volunteer - Winging-it Guy
Every farm needs a hero, and in our case, that hero is Caleb — though he may not have exactly volunteered for the job. He’s the guy who magically appears when something heavy needs lifting or something's broken (which, let’s be honest, is pretty much always). He’s our farm’s designated “fixer-upper” and “muscle-for-hire,” whether he likes it or not. And while he may occasionally grumble about his “volunteer status,” he’s the brute force behind every success we’ve had so far.
