If you’re anything like me, it can feel impossible to know what to get a toddler who already has everything she needs, would rather play with the boxes or her siblings presents. Because of that I have spent sometime trying to keep things simple with “want, need, do, read, wear, share.” It helps me make sure I’m not overbuying or going overboard for one kid (which, let’s be honest, is easier said than done).
These are some things I know any little girl between two and three would love.
Art Easel
This easel has been such a hit for Jojo at her preschool I can't wait to have it here for her, as a girl who LOVES art. JoJo can spend so much time coloring and painting, and I love that it keeps all the supplies in one place instead of all over the kitchen table. It’s the perfect size for toddlers to grow into, and I love that it encourages creativity instead of more screen time.
Pink Fox Slippers
These are the cutest little slippers and perfect for keeping toes warm on cold mornings. JoJo outgrew a favorite pair of slippers and I can already hear her telling people to look at her “fuzzy feet,” with these cute things!
Toddler Kitchen Toys
This set might be one of our most-played-with “toys,” if you consider it that, but it is very usable for growing cooks. Evie received a set a few years ago and Jojo has been desperate for her own to help alongside her sister.
Princess Boxed Set of Little Golden Books
Books are always a win for this age. This set is full of classic princess stories that JoJo adores. We read one (or two or three) every night before bed. The short stories and colorful pictures make it perfect for her attention span right now.
Pink Silk PJs
I swear these pajamas make bedtime feel special. They’re soft, cute, and make her look way too grown up. Plus, they wash well and don’t pill or shrink. A perfect “wear” gift that’s practical and adorable.
Green Velvet Dress
This dress is darling and so easy to throw on for church or a family dinner. JoJo loves how “twirly” it is, and I love that it’s comfy enough for her to play in. It’s one of those outfits that looks fancy without actually being high-maintenance.
Bow Sweat Set
This matching set is a staple. It’s cozy, easy to move in, and comes in so many cute colors. JoJo looks so put together even when we’re just running errands or staying home.
Disney Matching Game
This one’s great for family playtime. JoJo loves pointing out all the characters she knows, and it’s been fun to watch her memory skills grow. It’s simple, screen-free, and one of those games that even older siblings can get into. Perfect for her to share.
These “want, need, do, read, wear, share” guides make shopping so much easier for me. I don’t feel like I’m just buying random stuff, and it keeps things fair and simple for all the kids. Hopefully this list helps you find a few fun things for the little girl in your life too.
